ST KILDA'S search for the next Brendon Goddard starts at Seaford tomorrow.
The Saints will have nearly everyone on the senior list available for their intraclub hitout.
The full-scale practice match is the first chance for coach Scott Watters to trial options to replace Goddard in the midfield and defence.
Teenage defender Nathan Wright, the Saints' first pick in the national draft, will get the chance to build on his impressive training form.
"He has done everything he possibly can over the pre-season," football operations manager Greg Hutchison said. "He's a young guy we're looking forward to having a good look at."
New forwards Trent Dennis-Lane (Sydney) and Tom Lee (Greater Western Sydney), ruckman Tom Hickey (Gold Coast) and defender Dylan Roberton (Fremantle) are all expected to play.
