ST KILDA has lost star midfielder Lenny Hayes ahead of tonight's match against Collingwood at Etihad Stadium.
Hayes broke down with a calf strain in the warm-up and was replaced by emergency Jack Newnes just 15 minutes before the bounce.
Young Collingwood forward Ben Kennedy must wait a little longer to make his AFL debut after being named the substitute.
The speedy left-footer was taken with pick No.19 in the 2012 from SANFL club side Glenelg.
St Kilda has opted with utility Brodie Murdoch as its substitute.
