WEST Coast has received a much-needed boost ahead of Saturday's clash with Melbourne, with Mark LeCras and Daniel Kerr both confirmed to return from injury.
LeCras has made a remarkable recovery from a fractured arm sustained in the Round 1 derby loss to Fremantle just 19 days ago, while Kerr will play his first game of the season.
Having missed the entire NAB Cup following a knee injury, Kerr picked up 17 possessions in the second half for WAFL club East Fremantle against Subiaco last weekend.
Brad Sheppard (shoulder) and the omitted Bradd Dalziell make way for the pair.
Sheppard is expected to miss 2-3 weeks.
Melbourne has reacted strongly to its 148-point hiding at the hands of Essendon, with Jack Watts among five players to make way.
Tom Gillies is out with a groin complaint, while David Rodan, Dan Nicholson, Sam Blease and Watts have all been dropped.
West Coast has lost 11 of its past 12 games at the MCG, with its lone win coming against the Demons in 2010.
Meanwhile, Fremantle will welcome back Hayden Ballantyne from suspension for tomorrow night's blockbuster clash with Essendon at Patersons Stadium.
Hayden Crozier is the unlucky player to make way.
Crozier kicked two goals from eight possessions in the Dockers' 28-point win over the Western Bulldogs last weekend.
The Bombers have made two changes, with WA product Travis Colyer and Elliott Kavanagh brought in to replace Mark Baguley (ankle) and Jackson Merrett.
