NAB Cup champions Adelaide looked off-colour on Saturday - and still are.
Several Crows players have continued to report gastro problems at West Lakes where captain Nathan van Berlo, midfielders Bernie Vince and Brad Crouch and forward Jason Porplyzia were sent home today.
The bug also took its toll on some Crows last week.
The illness hardly excuses Adelaide's insipid performance against the Cats at Simonds Stadium where coach Brenton Sanderson took more issue with his players' attitude in the 63-point loss.
Adelaide will strengthen its line-up for Friday night's NAB Cup closer against Carlton.
Midfielder Rory Sloane will resume after being spared at Geelong. He had taken a knock to a shoulder at training on Friday.
Key defender Daniel Talia can resume after having his pre-season stalled by a viral infection.
But midfielder-defender Richard Tambling is still a "wait-and-see'' proposition after missing the game against Geelong with a back complaint.
